His songs and sitar playing respectfully reference both Ravi Shankar and George Harrison. Jason Kent supports on keyboards and guitar and, occasionally, on bass when Dhir is playing sitar; and Miles Dupree’s drumming gives structure and surprising power to this band’s spacey, rocking audacity. They have a deep catalog of great songs and are a great afternoon’s plunge.
